The effective management of water resources in Vietnam is a critical concern, influencing the quality of residential life and environmental sustainability. To address these challenges, the APN CRRP2021-06MY-Jegatheesan project conducted assessments focusing on various aspects of water resource management in Vietnam.

  • ‘Assessment of the Impacts of Water Resources in Bung Xang Canal to Residential Life and the Application of Constructed Floating Wetlands in Can Tho City, Vietnam’: This assessment aims to understand the implications of water resource management on residential life. It also explores the potential use of constructed floating wetlands to mitigate these impacts.
  • ‘Assessment of Environmental Problems and Solutions for Water Quality Management in Urban Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and the Application of Green Roofs to Treat Septic Tank Effluent’: This assessment delves into environmental issues related to water quality management in urban areas, especially in Ho Chi Minh City. It explores solutions, including the application of green roofs for treating septic tank effluent.
  • ‘Socioeconomic and Community Awareness of Wastewater Treatment Using NbS in Vietnam’: This assessment focuses on the socioeconomic aspects and community awareness of wastewater treatment using nature-based solutions (NbS) in Vietnam.

These assessments are crucial for developing effective strategies to manage and improve water resources in Vietnam, ensuring a higher quality of life and environmental sustainability.
