Ma. Catriona E. Devanadera

Ma. Catriona E. Devanadera is an Associate Professor at the Department of Community and Environmental Resource Planning, College of Human, Ecology, University of the Philippines Los Baños. She took her BS in Metallurgical Engineering, MS in Environmental Engineering, and a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of the Philippines Diliman. Dr Devanadera’s research area of expertise is in the field of environmental engineering, specifically, biological wastewater, and membrane treatment systems. She also has research related to wetlands conservation and management, circular economy in wetlands management, nature-based solutions such as constructed wetland systems, and has conducted several climate and disaster risk assessments for municipalities in the Philippines. Dr Devanadera is also an active member and a previous Board of Trustees for both the Society for the Conservation of Philippines Wetlands, Inc. (SCPW) and the Society of Environmental Engineers in the Philippines (SEEP).
