This course gives students detailed knowledge and practical examples of remote sensing techniques, and the ability to develop networks with other students and senior scientists. Students are assigned to a group, facilitated by one of the senior scientists to assist in a team project. This mentorship program encourages students to interact between senior scientists and early-career scientists and students. These relationships help new scientists develop scientific ideas, research projects and papers.
