This publication highlights selected APN-funded capacity development initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region, emphasising the best practices, lessons learned and outcomes for possible replication, adoption and scaling up activities. Important features and highlights were gathered from project reports and publications of the APN-funded capacity development projects. It is also notable that there are significant contributions and outcomes from the projects towards enhancing the local adaptive capacity of the rural farming communities. It is hoped that this communication material inspires other research and development organisations and national and local governments to scale up and upscale these capacity development initiatives.
