Ms Christmas Uchiyama is a technical research assistant at RIHN. Prior to her current role, she worked as a programme officer at the Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research (APN) managing capacity development programmes in the region and engaging in knowledge management. Her major interests are climate change and forest ecosystems, conservation science and sustainability science. She obtained her
MSc in the UNU-IAS where she developed her core competencies in conducting action-research projects, ecosystem services valuation and landscape values mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
