Bin He

Ningbo University

Professor He Bin is Director of the Institute of One Health Science at Ningbo University, China. An environmental engineering scholar with dual PhD at Wuhan University (China, 2004) and Ehime University (Japan, 2007), his research focuses on water pollution control, non-point source contamination, one health and disaster resilience technologies. With over 200 publications and 50 patents, he bridges academic and applied research through leadership roles, including Associate Editor-in-Chief of Geoenvironmental Disasters (Springer) and chair for the committee of One Health and Disaster Resilience of the International Consortium on Geo-disaster Reduction. Professor He’s distinguished career includes academic appointments at Kyoto University’s Disaster Prevention Research Institute (Associate Professor, 2010-2014) and the University of Tokyo (Assistant Professor, 2009-2010), awarded by JSPS Research Fellowships (2007-2009). An International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva Silver Awardee (2023) and iCAN Gold Awardee (2025), he maintains active global collaborations through editorial positions, international project management, and memberships in scientific organisations.
