Dr Uday Chatterjee is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Geography, Bhatter College, Dantan with a PhD in Applied Geography from Ravenshaw University. His research interest covers Urban and Social Geography, Applied Geomorphology, Hazards & Disasters, and Environmental Science. He has published 10 books, 30 academic papers and 10 book chapters. He has completed one special issue in GeoJournal, Springer as a lead guest editor and currently, the lead guest editor of a special issue Global Social Welfare, Springer, and book series editor ‘Development in Environmental Science’, Elsevier. His research project has been funded by the West Bengal Pollution Control Board.
