Dr Shalini Dhyani is Senior Scientist with Critical Zone Research Group National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI). Her research focus is on the interlinkages between ecological, human and social systems using sustainability science approaches. She is S. Asia Regional Chair for IUCN Commission on Ecosystems Management (CEM) and Lead author of IPBES thematic assessment on Sustainable Use of Wild Species. Her recent publications are on Climate Sensitive Restoration, Agroforestry for Climate Adaptations, Urban Blue Green spaces and Ecosystem health assessments.
