Dr. Asad is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Biosciences, COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) Pakistan. He has completed his doctorate degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. Along with his academic engagements, Asad holds the prestigious position of member of the board of directors of Pakistan Agricultural Scientists Forum and is a member of steering committee for implementing the project on “Strenthening Climate Adaptation and Resilience (SAR) by the planning commission of Pakistan. Along with outstanding academic research, Asad has also earned rich experience of working with development organizations, international NGOs, and prestigious institutes working on the water-energy-food nexus. His research on food security has attracted funding from numerous national and international donors.
