Dr Gomboluudev Purevjav is the Head of the Climate Research Division of Information and Research Institute of Meteorology, Hydrology and Environment, Mongolia. He is a highly experienced researcher in regional weather and climate modelling, atmosphere and biosphere interaction, climate variability change and extremes, and assessing climate change impact and vulnerability study. He was as leader of 2 projects from the National Science and Technology Fund of Mongolia during implementation and participated in 8 international projects as a national expert and team leader. He has published 50 scientific papers in academic journals, around 15 international articles and is the author of 3 book chapters.
