Physical oceanographer with good experience in data analysis. My research interests and experience span a wide range of topics from physical oceanography to ocean climate and marine ecosystems. These include: (1) dynamics of Indian Ocean circulation and climate, (2) dynamics and thermodynamics of the Indonesian seas, (3) impacts of large‐scale climate forcing on ecosystem dynamics in the Indonesian seas. My work used a combination of a numerical model of the ocean circulation (and ecosystems) and in‐situ and satellite observations.
