Bin He

Prof. Bin He has more than 20 years of experience in hydrological engineering and water pollution control. He holds the PhD of “Hydrology for Environmental Engineering” from Ehime University in Japan and then obtained the Research Fellow Award from Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). After that, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Tokyo (Japan), an Associate Professor at Kyoto University (Japan), a Professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His main interests include GIS-based hydrological modelling for nonpoint source pollution (NPS), developing engineering techniques for water pollution control. He has published more than 100 papers in journals, 3 books and 20 patents in environmental engineering. He is the leader of more than 30 domestic and international projects, an Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Journal “Geoenvironmental Disasters”, an Editor of Journals “Landslides” and also “Hydrological Research Letter”. He also works as a reviewer for more than 50 international journals including Water Research, Hydrology and Earth System Sciences, etc.
