Following the recent change in leadership after the 2025 Local Elections, a courtesy call was conducted to present the ongoing project to the new governor of La Union, Hon. Mario Eduardo C. Ortega. In his absence, the province was represented by the Provincial Administrator, Dr. Ramon B. Torres.
