This training report discusses the results of the workshop for the Quang Ngai province, which took place on the 21st of April 2023 at the Song Tra Hotel, Quang Ngai. The objectives of the workshop were to:

• Discuss on the current status of flood control measures at the local level, and how to integrate Integrated Flood Management Plans into the provincial disaster management plan and the role of the departments;
• Discuss on the advantages and challenges during the process of developing the Integrated Flood Management Plan.
