Anh Tran Ngoc

Dr. Tran Ngoc Anh is professor at VNU University of Science since 1995, with over 25 years of working experience in teaching and training in the field of hydrology, hydraulic engineering and environmental science.  He received his MSc in Environment Science and Human Engineering at Saitama University and PhD in Hydraulic Engineering at Kyoto University, Japan. He is also a senior expert in the field of disaster risk management, river basin management, Hydrology, river-estuary-coastal zone-sea hydrodynamics. He has project management skills for national/provincial stakeholder coordination experiences make him conformable for National Team Leader or National/International Deputy Team Leader for multi-province projects. It was proved by his large experience in managing national expert team and supporting to coordinate international expert team in number of ODA projects funded by World Bank, ADB, JICA…as well as bilateral cooperation programs in climate change, integrated water resources & flood management, forecasting & early warning system and sustainable development.

Currently he also holds the position of the director of Center for Environmental Fluid Dynamic (CEFD), VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS).
