The main purposes of the workshop were to exchange the information for recent development of integrated assessment models on climate change; explore and apply the methodology and experiences to use IMAs; strengthen the capacity for the east Asian countries to develop and apply integrated assessment models for climate change; achieve better understanding between researchers and policy makers.
