Dr Liu Wanyu is a professor with expertise in environmental and resource economics, including forest resource assessment, climate change and carbon sequestration, and forest recreation management. She obtained her master’s degree from the National Taiwan University and her doctorate from the Environmental Economics Group of the Institute of Agricultural Economics, National Taiwan University. Her research focuses on the application and policy orientation of environmental resource management issues and uses social science analysis methods. Dr Liu has won several awards for her research and has long-term experience implementing government projects related to science and technology. She continues to be active in the field, working towards solving actual environmental and economic problems in Taiwan and improving the efficiency of forest environmental resources.
