Dr Thong Nguyen-Huy received a PhD in Computational Statistics & Data Sciences and a Master of Spatial Science Technology from the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), Australia. His research interests include agricultural climate risk modelling, risk transfer solutions, natural disasters, renewable energy, and climate extreme/change impact on the environment and public health. He has significant experience and skills in developing and applying statistical and AI models, and GIS and remote sensing techniques. His research works were funded by the Australian government (DCAP, FWFA, NACP, FDF) and international organisations (IKI, APN).
