Dr Steven Soon-Kai Kong is a postdoc research fellow at the Department of Atmospheric Sciences, National Central University, Taiwan (ROC). He received his PhD degree in Environmental Sciences from the Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Malaysia. He is interested in atmospheric physics, air pollution episodes analysis, air quality modelling, climate change and long-range transport of dust/haze episodes. His research work is mainly conducting the simulation using the regional climate and air quality modelling including Weather Research Forecast (WRF) and Community Multiscale Air Quality (CMAQ) modelling system over the East Asia region. He has published 20 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and participated in more than 10 international conferences, seminars, and workshops.
