Dr Yoo is a research scientist with a doctorate in Ecology and Evolution. Scientific interests include dynamics of primary production and phytoplankton community in various marine environments. He has a strong background in field observation and satellite data analysis of long term trends and having more than 20 years of experience in teaching. He is also experienced in managing projects from conception to completion and working with a range of scientific disciplines and has received major awards from national foundations. Dr Yoo has plenty of experience in coordinating joint projects at the international level.
