Dr Shurong Zhang is an Associate Professor at the College of Water Sciences, Beijing Normal University, China. She received her PhD from the National University of Singapore and has worked in the Beijing Normal University since 2009. Her research focuses on river geochemistry, particularly organic carbon geochemistry in water and sediment under anthropogenic disturbances.
