Dr Sadhana Pradhanang Kayastha is an Affiliate Researcher at The Small Earth Nepal (SEN). She earned her PhD in industrial effluents from the Hetauda Industrial district and impaired water quality of Karra River from the University of Delhi, India. She is a Professor at the Central Department of Environmental Science (CDES), Tribhuvan University, an Academician at the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), and a member of the International Hydrological Program (IHP) committee, Nepal National Commission for UNESCO. She also served as head of the Department of Environmental Science, Tri-Chandra Campus, Tribhuvan University from 2004-2006. She has published more than 50 journal articles and authored books and book chapters in the field of assessment of water quality, wastewater treatment, hydrochemistry of water resources, and heavy metal contamination with more than 30 conference presentations.
