Mr. Rohit Magotra is the Deputy Director of Integrated Research and Action for Development (IRADe), a reputed think tank in Asia. He also leads IRADe’s initiatives on sustainable urban development. Over the last decade, his work has focused on addressing policy issues related to sustainable urban development, disaster resilience, and climate resilience.
He has led multi-stakeholder consortiums in South Asia, collaborating with national institutions, state governments, municipal corporations, non-governmental organizations, and academia for action research projects and capacity building. Additionally, he has extensively contributed to the development of climate-adaptive heat action plans in South Asia and is a founding member of the South Asia Heat Health Information Network (SAHHIN).
