Rida Sehar Kiani is an early career climate researcher. She holds a Master degree in Environmental Sciences with distinction and acquired a gold medal in her bachelors. She works as a researcher in APN funded project on climate extremes at Global Change Impact Studies Centre Pakistan and is also leading a project on climate change communication funded by APN from the platform of an independent organization ClimatExperts Consultancy Pvt Ltd. She has publications in international journals on the topics of climate change projections, impact assessment, monsoon variability and hydrological changes. She also writes news articles for leading English newspapers in Pakistan to communicate science to policymakers in a simple and effective way.
