Rico Ancog is a professor at the University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB), University of the Philippines scientist, and Deputy Director for Administration at Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture. He previously served as Dean of School of Environmental Science and Management -UP Los Banos (2021–2025). His scholarship spans sustainability science, environmental policy, economic valuation, and systems thinking, advancing inclusive and resilient development in Southeast Asia by bridging science and policy.
