Rakesh Kadaverugu is a senior scientist at the Cleaner Technology and Modeling Division of CSIR National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, India. He has more than ten years of experience in environmental systems modelling on different scales ranging from lab-scale prototypes to socio-environmental systems. He has been working on species habitat modelling to project the future potential habitats of sensitive tree species and the uncertainty and sensitivity analysis in such projections. Currently, his focus area of research is on multiscale air quality modelling to downscale the mesoscale weather variables to the building scale, which has direct relevance in sustainable urban landscape design.
