Dr. Quach Thi Khanh NGOC is an associate professor at the Faculty of Economics, Nha Trang University, Vietnam. She has more than 10 years’ experience in the field of fisheries economics and biodiversity conservation. Her research focuses on the use and development of bioeconomic modelling for fisheries and marine protected areas, economic performance and productivity of fisheries sectors, as well as poverty and food security in fisheries. Recently, she is interested in environmental valuation methods, particularly in the marine and coastal ecosystems and marine litter pollution. Dr. Ngoc has served in the role of principal investigator and researcher for numerous national and international economic and environmental projects, including EEPSEA Economy and Environment Program for Southeast Asia), NORAD (The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation) and EU Horizon 2020 projects.
