She received Engineering Diploma in Inland Hydrology (1st class of Honor) in 1993. Dr Pham furthered her studies and received a Master’s Degree in Hydrology and Environment in 1996 and a Master’s Degree in Coastal Engineering in 2003, respectively. In 2018, she achieved Doctorate Degree in Flood Risk Management at Kyoto University, Japan. She is now working as a senior lecturer cum head of the International Cooperation Department at Thuyloi University. From 1997 up to now she has a lot of experience working on international projects in different positions such as team member, senior consultant, team leader, project coordinator, environmental specialist and disaster management specialist
