Dr Narisara Thongboonchoo is a lecture in the department of chemical engineering. King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Bangkok, Thailand. She is a skilled air pollution and atmospheric researcher with experience in various aspects related to air pollution research, emissions inventories, chemical transport modelling, and satellite applications on air pollution research. She was a science team for A NASA/GTE Aircraft Mission: Intercontinental Chemical Transport Experiment – North America (INTEX-NA) during July 2004 and Transport And Chemical Evolution Over The Pacific (TRACE-P) during March 2001. She was a visiting scientist at Satellite Service Division, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Camp Spring, Maryland. She was also served as a Fire IT, Southeast Asia Regional Research and Information Network (SEARRIN), a regional network under Global Observation Forest Cover(GOFC)/ Global Observation Land Dynamics(GOLD). In addition, she is also been a board member of The Thai Institute of Chemical Engineering and Applies Chemistry (TIChE) since 2007 and was appointed for several positions such as a secretary, treasurer and registrar. She earned her PhD in chemical and biochemical engineering from The University of Iowa, USA.
