Dr Muhammad Abdur Rouf is a full professor and acting as a head of Fisheries and Marine Resource Technology Discipline of Khulna University in Bangladesh. Dr Rouf obtained his PhD in Coastal Environment from the University of Ryukyus, Japan, MS in Integrated Coastal Zone Management from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand and BSc in Fisheries and Marine Resource Technology from Khulna University, Bangladesh. His field of interest covers coastal zone management; fisheries management and conservation, fish population dynamics, oceanography, and estuarine ecology. Dr Rouf has vast experience to work with various national and international organizations and has published a significant number of peer reviewed scientific articles and reports. He has also active involvement in reviewing scientific articles, participate in national and international conferences and working for various national level policy formulation processes.
