Minjae Baek

East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership

Ms Minjae Baek has a strong background in science, environmental education, and wildlife ecology. In her role as a communications officer at EAAFP, she plays a key part in supporting conservation efforts for migratory waterbirds, focusing on communication and outreach initiatives. Minjae is deeply committed to raising awareness about the importance of protecting these species and actively applies her expertise in communications to contribute to global conservation efforts through strategic messaging and outreach campaigns. 

Before joining EAAFP, Minjae worked as a secondary school science teacher. She was the project coordinator at the Hanns Seidel Foundation Korea office, leading initiatives under the Global Climate Project, specialising in the Central Asian Flyway.
