Manish Naja is chairman of the Atmospheric Sciences Division at ARIES, Nainital, India. He completed his BSc at Government Degree College, India and MSc in Physics at Dr H.S.G. University, India. He was instrumental in setting up a high-altitude atmospheric laboratory at ARIES and continuing high-quality long-term observations of trace gases and aerosols. He is the PI of the ISRO-ATCTM project and leading an ST Radar facility. He is an SSC member of IGAC and co-chair of IGAC-MANGO.
