Dr. Linjun Xie is an Assistant Professor of Sustainable Urbanism at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China.Her interdisciplinary research intersects Urban Geography, Environmental Studies, and Political Science. More specifically, her research focuses on sustainability transitions within the climate-biodiversity-society nexus in urban context, including examination of nature-based solutions and smart eco-city initiatives. Dr. Xie is currently a Lead Author for the upcoming IPBES Nexus Assessment report and an active member of the International Network of Resource Information Centers (Balaton Group). She was a visiting scholar at the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society in 2018. Besides, recognized for her excellent academic contributions, she received the Green Talents Award in 2017.
