Kritana Prueksakorn

Dr Kritana Prueksakorn is an Associate Professor and an environmental researcher and lecturer at Mahidol University’s Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies in Thailand. Holding a Doctor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from Changwon National University (South Korea, 2015), his expertise spans life cycle sustainability assessment (agriculture, tourism, industry) and environmental monitoring/simulation (climate, weather, air quality). Dr Prueksakorn brings a unique perspective from prior industry and research roles at Samsung (Thailand), NSTDA, SCG Chemicals, and Japan’s AIST. His recent research focuses on Southeast Asian environmental challenges, including assessing PM2.5 health impacts from biomass burning, integrating remote sensing for land-use monitoring, and evaluating the sustainability of crop cultivation in northern Thailand using nexus analysis and life cycle assessment methodologies. He maintains active collaborations across Thailand, China, Korea and Vietnam.
