Dr. Kay Dimmock is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Southern Cross University based in the Faculty of Business, Law and Arts. Her research interests include leisure experiences and marine tourism. She works with marine tourism stakeholders, including industry, community, researchers and government agencies, to understand social dimensions of coastal marine environments and tourism impacts. Dr. Dimmock is an experienced marine tourism researcher with extensive experience in collaborative research projects about human engagement and behaviour in marine locations. She has conducted research into management of SCUBA diving operations and supervised research projects locally and nationally involving marine wildlife tourism and education.
