Joji Ishizaka

Nagoya University

Dr Ishizaka is a skilled research oceanographer with a doctorate in geoscience. His strength is in remote sensing and field studies of biological and optical oceanography, especially primary production in the oceanic and coastal waters. He has been involved in many international training courses in remote sensing of ocean remote sensing. Also, Dr Ishizaka is the focal point of Northwest Pacific Regional Action Plan (NOWPAP) of UNEP, the Editor of the Journal of Oceanography, and Co‐chair of Advisory panel for CREAMS/PICES (North Pacific Marine Science Organization) Program in East Asian Marginal Seas.
