Hiroshi Tanimoto

Hiroshi Tanimoto received his PhD in Chemistry from The University of Tokyo in 2001. He has been working in the field of global atmospheric chemistry. Dr Tanimoto served as the Co-Chair of the International Global Atmospheric Chemistry (IGAC) project as well as the Chair of the Japan Society of Atmospheric Chemistry (JpSAC), and is now serving as the Vice-President of  the International Commission on Atmospheric Chemistry and Global Pollution (iCACGP) under the International Association of Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences (IAMAS), and the Co-Chair of Atmospheric Composition-Virtual Constellation (AC-VC) of Committee on Earth Observation Satellites (CEOS). He is also an adjunct professor at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Nagoya University.
