Fawzia Tarannum

TERI University

Dr Fawzia Tarannum is an Assistant Professor in the Coca-Cola Department of Regional Water Studies at the TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS), New Delhi, India. She is interdisciplinary water professional with 22 years of experience in project management, teaching and training.  She is an awardee of the University of Nairobi- IDRC Doctoral Research Grant and the US State Department-sponsored Fulbright Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship. She also serves as an advisor to the GuruJal Society, formed under the District Administration of Gurgaon in India. Her interests are integrated water resources management, gender and equity in water management and participatory water governance. Prior to joining TERI SAS, she was General Manager- Sales at M/S Cleantec Infra Private Limited, a company engaged in mechanized cleaning and dredging solutions for shallow water bodies.
