Dr. Catherine C. de Luna, formerly a University Researcher II at UPLB’s Interdisciplinary Studies Center for Integrated Natural Resources and Environment Management, held her position from 1999 to 2023. She obtained PhD Forestry, MS Forestry, and BS Agriculture degrees from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. Her research focuses on transforming upland farming systems into sustainable practices, addressing upland degradation and fostering upland community development. Her doctoral work significantly contributes to the understanding of forest landscape restoration.
