As a chief officer of the Vietnam Ministry of Health and the Secretary of the Minister, Assoc Prof Ha’s role is to provide advice to the Minister on the development and implementation of health policy including food borne illness and to monitor health system performance in Vietnam. In addition to that, he also leads a number of research projects in public health, teaching and supervising post-graduate students at Vietnam Public Health University and Vietnam National Institute of Nutrition.
