Alisa Sahavacharin

Alisa Sahavacharin is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Landscape Architecture Department at the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Thammasat University. She received her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Chulalongkorn University in 2006 and later was awarded Master of Science in International Horticulture by Writtle College, University of Essex, United Kingdom. She currently undergoes her PhD in the Interdisciplinary Program of Environmental Science at Chulalongkorn University. She is a skilled researcher, experienced with a doctorate in environmental science and landscape ecology, focusing on coastal landscape, agricultural landscape, and sustainable planning. She worked on a project of Enhancing Community Climate Change Resiliency and Environmental Quality through Organic Farming and Design Thinking in Peri-urban Bangkok, funded by Canada Local Initiatives (Canadian Embassy Thailand) from 2021 to 2022, which was estimated CAD 41,524 (THB1,100,000). She also worked as a researcher for several projects such as Spatio-Temporal Analysis and Modeling for Sustainability of Andaman Coastal City and Forest: A Case Study of Krabi Province by Chulalongkorn University in 2016 till 2019, Bangsaen Beach Master Plan at Mueang Chonburi District, Chonburi Province by Thammasat University in 2017 and Green Development Direction for Mill Operation at District of Na Pra Lan, Saraburi Province by Institute of Environmental Research, Chulalongkorn University in 2016.
