Third APN-contributed lecture at the University of Hyogo shares regional efforts on climate change, waste management, and disaster risk reduction

18 January 2022 (Tue), Kobe—A third APN-contributed lecture on environmental issues took place on 18 January 2022 at the Graduate School of Disaster Resilience and Governance, University of Hyogo, with presentations from Mr Yoichi Toyama, Director of APN, and Dr Nafesa Ismail, Programme Officer.

Topics of the presentations range from climate change, waste management, and commitment to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, to disaster risk reduction (DRR).

Presentations also included knowledge products, lessons learnt and the knowledge gaps derived from the recently published APN paper, which reviewed the contribution of APN projects to the Sendai Framework.
