Ms Nafesa Ismail joined the APN Secretariat in 2018 as a Programme Officer for Knowledge Management, Science and Institutional Affairs. She supports the management of national and regional projects in the Asia-Pacific region and the management and monitoring of the knowledge generated from APN activities, including the APN Science Bulletin, a flagship web-based and peer-reviewed publication. She also supports the empowerment of early-career professionals in leading and participating in international research through the APN’s proposal development training workshop.
Ms Ismail holds a doctorate from Kyoto University and a Master’s degree from Kansai University.
