[Closed] Call for Participants for APN’s Annual Proposal Development Training Workshop (PDTW)

Who?

If you are a young researcher working in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan or Sri Lanka and interest to develop regional proposals, then this information is for you.

What?

APN in collaboration with Past Global Changes (PAGES) and National Environment Commission of Bhutan will hold a Proposal Development Training Workshop (PDTW) 2016 in Bhutan. The training workshop is designed to enhance the capacity of young scientists and practitioners in the South Asia region to develop competitive project proposals for funding.

How will it benefit you?

APN held 13 training workshops, and 10 proposals developed by trainees received APN funding through its annual calls for proposals. Recently, APN established a special call for young scientists called “Collaborative Research Young Scientists (CRYS)”, through which it provides opportunities for young scientists to engage in and lead regional collaborative research on global change sustainability. Therefore, we believe this workshop will provide a great opportunity for early career scientists to start their first regional research.

What should I do?

Please submit your online application before 31 October 2016.

Who will cover the cost?  Don’t worry! APN  and PAGES will cover the cost of participation of selected participants
