Call for Applications: Expert Workshop on Microplastics in the Water Environment

The Technische Universität Braunschweig, in association with the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology – Thammasat University and the Environmental Science Research Centre – Chiang Mai University, is calling for participants for an expert workshop focused on microplastic pollution and its threatening impact on ecosystems, wildlife, and human beings.

Objective
  • To provide the participants with state-of-the-art knowledge of microplastic pollution and its related implications;
  • To identify and deliberate upon the research needs and concepts against the background of increasing threats to ecosystems, wildlife, and human health.
Target applicants The target participants of this workshop are experts from universities, state research institutions, and state agencies, who are doing research and work in the field that is related to microplastics in the water environment.

The application along with an extended abstract needs to be submitted by 12 April 2019. Please carefully read and use the following template: Template for Abstract

Selected applicants will be asked to submit a full paper by 9 August 2019.
