The APEC Climate Center (APCC), through its APN project CBA2020-06SY-Yoo, is organizing the WCRP Workshop on Extremes in Climate Prediction Ensembles (ExCPEns) on 25-28 October 2021.

The focus of this online workshop is exploiting subseasonal, seasonal, annual to decadal and longer-term prediction ensembles to improve the prediction and understanding of extreme weather and climate events.

There will be two set of events happening:

• 25-27 October 2021: Workshop on ExCPEns
• 27-28 October 2021: Early-career scientists (ECS) training and discussion forum

In this regard, APCC is inviting participation from senior researchers and early-career researchers who are working in the field of climate prediction and downscaling.
