International Symposium on Integrated Flood and Sediment Management in River Basin for SusTainable Development (FSMaRT)

Background

The 1st International Symposium on Integrated Flood and Sediment Management in River Basin for Sustainable Development (FSMaRT), 2022, will be held in Da Nang, Vietnam, on the 18-20th December 2022. It aims to provide a forum for researchers, scientists, engineers and scholars from industry, academia and government to share their experience, amazing ideas and innovative research in the impacts of climate change and human interventions on reservoir sedimentation, flood inundation, agricultural practices, and river and coastal erosion. In addition, this conference would also be a platform to discuss practical issues, challenges encountered as well as the solutions adopted.

Organisers

The conference is co-organised by the Disaster Prevention Research Institute (DPRI) (Japan), Kyoto University (KU) (Japan), the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) (Vietnam), National Center for Water Resources Planning & Investigation (NAWAPI) (Vietnam), Thuyloi University (Vietnam), the University of Da Nang (Vietnam), Isabela State University (Philippines), National Irrigation Administration (Philippines), National Water Resources Board (Philippines), NGO An Nhien Farm (Vietnam), Department of Science and Technology Regional Office No.II, Tuguegarao City (Philippines), and NIA-MARIIS-DRD (Philippines).

Conference Registration

All participants seeking to attend the FSMaRT2022 Conference must register and pay the indicated conference fees, including coffee breaks and a copy of the conference proceedings.
