Registration and call for session proposals now open! Shape the future of climate resilience at the 9th APAN Forum

The Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research, together with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and with support from UNEP’s Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific and the APAN Secretariat, is pleased to announce the launch of registration and the call for session proposals for the 9th Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Forum!

Held under the theme “Resilience for All: Catalyzing Transformational Adaptation,” this year’s Forum will gather a diverse community of stakeholders, from national governments and local authorities to civil society, private sector innovators, and leading researchers, to drive transformative solutions for climate resilience across Asia and the Pacific.

The Forum will be held from 29 September to 3 October 2025 at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC) in Bangkok, Thailand.

Focus areas

The 2025 Forum will explore four critical systems pathways, each essential for building robust climate adaptation strategies:

  • Food and Agricultural Systems
  • Land and Water Ecosystems & Biodiversity
  • Infrastructure, Cities and Industries

These thematic areas will be examined through the lens of five key enablers to inspire deeper, systemic change and catalyze action.
