The United Nations University – Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) is inviting early-career researchers and policy practitioners to take part in an international symposium entitled “Green Growth and Environmental Change: Political Ideology, Political Economy and Policy Alternatives,” to be held on 25-26 July 2014 at UNU-IAS, Tokyo, Japan.
Focusing on ideological and policy innovations that offer creative alternatives for the society, the symposium will highlight research and studies related to green growth and investment and will attempt to answer questions on why sufficiency and efficiency should go together.
The event is supported by the APN under its Scientific Capacity Development Programme (CAPaBLE) through the recently-awarded project CBA2014-09NSY-Mathai.
The call for submission of papers can be found at: http://unu.edu/news/announcements/cfp-green-growth-environmental-change-seminar.html
