Dr Nina Yulianti is an Associate Professor at the University of Palangka Raya, Indonesia. She is the author of a bilingual book entitled “An Introduction of Fire and Transboundary Haze Disaster: Case Study of Ex Mega Rice Project in Central Kalimantan”. Her expertise is on forest and peatland fire analysis; peatland ecology; agroclimatology and linkage of human-environment. Her research and teaching span survey, experimental, field observation and remote sensing approaches, with a particular focus on sustainable ecosystems. Currently, she is a principal of the Sustainable Development Goals Program and Secretary for the International Office at the University of Palangka Raya. She holds a PhD in Human Environmental Systems from Hokkaido University, Japan and was a visiting scholar at the Center of Southeast Asia Studies of Kyoto University, Japan.
